The duo of actress Judy Austin and movie star, Yul Edochie seems to have been permanently placed in the black book of Nigerians, and as such, everything they do always look like it is the worst any human could have done; people must always find one fault or the other in everything about, or involving them.
Well, just as the husband and wife were about going out, they got into their car and began to pray before they drove off, while their phone camera was on, transmitting straight to social media. That very behavior didn’t set well with lots of people, who immediately unleashed their venoms on the couple. Many who commented on the video said the couple are just chasing clout and doing everything possible to remain relevant on social media.
One instagram user identified as @isabel_obiageli wondered why the couple couldn’t pray all the time they were inside their house, only to enter their cat, set camera and begin to pray, after which it was posted on their Facebook and Instagram page.
In her exact words, “I want to understand something, una two left ur house without praying, then enter car set camera, begin pray and then posted online. Oh father Lord what sin have we committed to deserve you two as punishment?”
Though while many people condemned such attitude of theirs, they were some others who saw nothing wrong in how the couple choose to do their prayers.
Well, the truth remains that there’s no globally and standardized style of praying, you only prayer according to how you feel is the best for you. That’s why you see some people going to the mountain top to pray, some to the Chapel.
On the other hand, you see some kneeling to pray, some standing or seated. But in the end what really matters is the state of ur heart, and not the outward show off which on its own can be highly deceptive.
