Bwala is not happy with the role being played by Wike and his loyalists in the lingering political crisis in Rivers State…
The unending crisis rocking Rivers State has continued to attract attention from around the country, with many divergent opinions trailing the unfortunate situation in the state.
Recall that the incumbent governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara and erstwhile Governor of same state, Nyesom Wike has been drawn into unending feud for many months now. The feud has created lots of toxic atmosphere in the state, including divided state lawmakers, and more, with different court judgements regards the political crisis ravaging the State.
Unhappy by the development, former spokesperson of Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organization and now APC loyalist, Daniel Bwala has waded into the matter. He accused Wike loyalists of making sure the incumbent governor do not have peace throughout his tenure.
“The crisis rocking the River State, allegedly fueled by some acclaimed loyalist of @GovWike is reaching the fever pitch of judicial pronouncements. Clearly some undemocratic elements do not want @SimFubaraKSC to govern Rivers state in peace,” his exact words reads.
He urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to quickly intervene in the matter and reconciling all the aggrieved political players in the state, so as to ensure peace returns to the state in ernest.
He acknowledged the fact since the return of the country to Democratic regime in 1999, that many successors of respective regimes have often had issues with their godfathers, but that none has escalated to this level being witnessed in Rivers State at the moment.
He then added, “Wike must realize he is not god and politicians stronger than him had to shield swords in the interest of peace and stability”.
