Social media has been buzzing since last night over the news of the sudden disappearance of singer and social media sensation, Speed Darlington.
Shortly after, it was unraveled that Burna Boy was behind the disappearance of Speed, which was confirmed by several media platforms, stating that Burna Boy had petitioned the Force Headquarters Abuja regards an alleged defamatory video posted online by Speed Darlington.
The video in question is a post by Speed Darlington alleging that embattled music mogul, Sean Diddy Combs, had something in the bedroom with Burna Boy before he was able to win his Grammy award.
While many people have been reacting to the matter, Rudeboy has equally waded into the matter, openly showing support to his colleague, Burna Boy, on the ground that a lot of people hide under “Social Media Cruise” to insult and defame people as they wish.
“Everything na cruise and jokes until hand touch you…then they will say you are an oppressor because you think you have money and all. There’s a huge difference between freedom of data and freedom of speech,” he wrote.
“Press play don’t let the play press you. Use the internet don’t let the internet use you,” he added.
The truth remains that a lot of people in this part of the world are used to making lots of crazy allegations in the name of catching cruise, and at the same time defaming and destroying the images of people.
But arresting and incarcerating Speed Darlington is totally wrong, it is a clear case of oppression as exhibited by Burna Boy. If Speed Darlington has said something to defame Burna Boy’s name, then take the matter to court and press whatever charges you like against Speed, then allow the court interpret the law on the matter.
