The relationship between Osimhen and Napoli is at all time lowest as everything seems to have fallen apart between both parties.
Following his failure to secure a move to Chelsea on deadline day, his future at the Italian Champions remains uncertain as he has been relegated to the background with no hope of returning to the first team at Napoli.
Right now, he has officially been removed from Napoli’s squad list for the 2024/2025 Serie A Season. Osimhen and Mario Rui are both OUT as Napoli consider them out of the project.
Osimhen’s number nine jersey has been handed down to the club’s latest signing, Romelu Lukaku
Relationship broken with both players… they also want to leave but on their terms, but at the moment, the only serious interest for Osimhen is from Saudi Arabia, and there are limited time before the window closes from that side as well.
Maltreatment of Osimhen:
Many have accused Napoli of maltreating the Nigerian international, in spite all he has achieved and done for the club in the past few years, especially in the 2023/2024 season.
“Napoli is a very ungrateful club with the mentality of a child. The have quickly forgotten how he helped them win games and the league. Osimhen doesn’t belong there. He’s not respected and very unappreciated too,” X user Sire Elliot @Elliotcute wrote.
“Osimhen helped Napoli win the scudetto after many years. And this is how they are paying him back? Okay,Napoli must be relegated this season,” @abazewhyllz.
“Well this is a ridicule .
Is that how they treated Maradona when he helped them clinched the Scudetto that Year? They don’t rate us,” @QsAbdulhakeem.
“He made a grave mistake by signing another Napoli contract. Now his career is at stake. And since Chelsea is not serious, the only option left is for Osimhen to take that €740k, why are we working if not for money?”
“He should go to Saudi and come back anytime he wants. I think that particular clause of ‘leaving anytime’ will be included in the deal as stipulated by the Saudi club,” @DukeofBourdilon.
“Napoli are ungrateful. He single handedly delivered the Scudetto to them. Ungrateful fools,” @Guchomili.
“What exactly is Victor’s offence that warrants this type of treatment from a club he once called home??” Tolulope Michael @im_tolumichael.
