Embattled Nollywood actor, Hank Anuku has began witnessing series of positivity in his life, in such a quick succession, following the recent disturbing state of life of the veteran Nollywood as a viral video captured him at a fuel station looking messed up with alleged drugs and alcohol.
Well, following that video, a lot of persons began calling for financial assistance for the actor, and since then, things has really turned around for him. And in a recent video he shared on his personal Instagram page, he thanked his fans, well wishers and all those who came to his help.
Hank further stated that he has never done drugs in his life, that it was the excessive alcohol he took to messed him up that period. He revealed how he was plunged into depression due to hardship, as he has been out of job for years, his children school fees, their upkeep and general welfare, and it got to that breaking point that he could not bear it any longer.
In reaction to the said post, his son Henry Anuku (@henry.anuku1) assured his dad that everything is going to alright, as well assured his actor dad that the family are with him at this trying period of his life.
“It’s gonna be alright dad, I’m with you, Nicole is with you and mom is with you, we love you,” the young boy wrote.
Those words have melted many hearts since the comment was made, attracting lots of reactions from many people, with many praying for him and his family as well.
In the said video, the actor also announced that he’s working on a big project, regards his film academy in Asaba. He called for financial support towards the actualization of that dream, equally promised that whatever money that is donated for the project will be judiciously used and accounted for.
Meanwhile, the 63 years old actor is married to Mrs. Anuku with whom they had two lovely children; Henry and Nicole. Sadly, there are unconfirmed rumours that she has divorced him as they no longer live together. Equally, some other report has it that the actor has a grown up daughter who he had with his former girlfriend before he later married the woman who has two children for him.
