The social media space in Nigeria has been on fire for about forty eight (48) hours now following the unexpected nuclear war of words triggered by Wizkid and directly targeted at his colleague, Davido.
In fact, Wizkid obviously crossed the red flag with the kind of venomous words coming out of his mouth, but Davido equally shocked everyone with his silence on the rants. His maturity in handling the situation earned him more respect from people.
But in the face of all that, he eventually made a social media post indirectly responding to the rants, and he wrote via his X account saying; “stay authentic to your craft, resilient on your journey, and lift others along with you. Be the Standout Swift“.
Then he added, “are you ready to soar together?#BeTheStandOutSwift. Please enjoy responsibly. Forward only to people of legal drinking age“.
Meanwhile, controversial social media sensation, Daniel Regha think that the beef was fueled by the unnecessary words from Davido’s boys, and went on to warn Davido to caution his men to stop the habit of throwing words at Wizkid and other artists.
And in the same manner, another Wizkid FC, Yhettyqueen @Its_yhettyqueen said similar thing to Davido; “Don’t act like you didn’t see all Wizkid said to you
That won’t make us think you’re matured cos we know you ain’t…
