Chief Pete Edochie has been at the forefront of those promoting the Igbo culture and heritage, and he has once again reiterated that.

The legendary Nollywood actor who is fondly called Ebubedike or Ogadagidi made it clear that he’s forever proud of his Igbo heritage as an Igbo man, and that he owes nobody any apology over that.

Chief Edochie boldly and unapologetically stated that, “I’m a very proud Igbo man. I don’t owe anyone apologies for being an Igbo man“.

He then went on to equally reveal the key contributions of the Igbo people to the entire country and in different aspects of life.

Most of the people that have brought honour and pride to Nigeria are Igbo,” he continued.

He equally talked about the issue of the marginalization being meted to the people in Nigeria, making it clear that it is a total waste of time for those involved in that, as it is God who has placed Ndigbo with such greatness and that there’s nothing anyone can actually do about it.

You can do all you want to suppress Ndigbo, but you’ll be wasting your time. God endowed Igbo people with greatness; there’s nothing anyone can really do about it,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, this is coming at a time a lot of people, both within and outside the South East have continued to lament the marginalization of Ndigbo in Nigeria.
