Sick and bedridden Nollywood actor, Amechi Mounagour health condition is not anywhere close to being better as he has once again cried out for financial assistance as he has been deserted by both colleagues and others as well.
This was made known by his colleague, Kingsley Orji, better known as Egbeigwe, as he paid him a visit on his sick bed. He appealed to everyone to come to Amechi’s help, pleading that we shouldn’t allow what happened to John Okafor A.K.A Mr Ibu to befall Amechi.
He also revealed that the sick Nollywood actor needs a lot of money to bring him back to full health, as he requires an urgent kidney transplant in India, including some other sicknesses he’s suffering including diabetes, arthritis, and others.
In a video from his visit posted on his verified Facebook page, Egbeigwe wrote, “Special public appeal on our veteran Nollywood actor Amechi Mounagour, please my brothers and sisters lets help him more to go for the kidney transplant in India…”
Sadly, when the actor was given the opportunity to speak, he was practically unable to make a clear speech, as he struggled to even talk. It was indeed a heartbreaking scene and had immediately moved many people to start donating to his personal bank accounts details shared alongside the video by Egbeigwe.
Recall that Amechi Mounagour has been sick since last year, when the news broke out on social media. Unfortunately, he has not received enough attention and financial assistance like his deceased colleague, Mr. Ibu. Though very few notable persons have actually visited Amechi, persons like popular philanthropist, Okwuluora, comedian Ezege, and now Egbeigwe.
Meanwhile, it has become a trademark character of Nollywood actors to abandon one of their own at such times, which has constantly earned them severe criticism and attacks from members of the public. Who have accused them of living lavish and flamboyant lifestyles while some of their sick colleagues are dying as a result of abandonment and no assistance.
