Veteran Nollywood actor, Alex Usifo is celebrating his decades of marriage as he takes to his social media platform to mark his anniversary with his beautiful wife. The actor shared a lovely throwback photo with his wife.
According to him, they had celebrated their 30th marriage anniversary on November 27, 2023, and now, he’s equally celebrating 20th wedding anniversary with his darling wife. Many if his colleagues in the industry and others have equally stormed his page to mark the special day with him.
“Last week, November 27th we celebrated our 30th anniversary and it keeps dawning on me over and over again, how blessed I’m and how amazing life is with you,” part of his caption reads.
“I have so much to say but ‘I love you and always will’ is what caps it for me. Happy 20th anniversary to us,” he added.
Reacting to the anniversary post, veteran Nollywood actress, Ngozi Ezeonu wrote, “happy anniversary. Forever together.”
“Happy anniversary sir. Wishing you eternal Bliss,” veteran Nollywood actress Shan George wrote as well.
“Happy anniversary sir and madam,” Helen Paul wrote as well.
In some other post, some remarked that the 20 years is too small considering his age, alleging that he didn’t marry on time. Well, the 70 year old actor got married to Princess Usifo in 1993.
On the other hand, many people have equally hailed the veteran Nollywood actor for being a true role model of what a decent marriage should be. For the fact that he still has his marriage in tact and has not been ridiculed by stories of marital crisis or extramarital affairs, regardless of his fame and fortunes. Especially at a time were the marriages of many of his colleagues in the entertainment industry has consistently crashed for flimsy reasons.
