Veteran Nollywood actor Shan George is one of the most terrified persons at the moment following her current predicament.
The movie star took to her social media handle, shedding tears as she revealed what internet fraudsters, otherwise known as Yahoo boys did to her bank account. According to her, the only money in her life, being the sum of three million, six hundred thousand Naira (#3,600,000m) has been wiped out from her account.
Bitterly lamented about the fact that doesn’t have money anywhere else, and that she and her children have nothing to eat following the unfortunate incident.
She mentioned a certain Cecilia Chiagoziem Okoro, as allegedly being behind the act. She further revealed that the culprit wired the entire money into his Opay account.
“I need help coz I’m dying! This person has just cleared my account. Please my people, everyone please help. Pls Zenith Bank, reverse it. I can’t access my app. I’m dead. Oga Jim Ovia,” one of her posts read
“I’m left koboless right now, wetin I go eat with my children. @zenithbankplc @opay.ng please help me, my account at zenith bank has been wiped clean just now, paid into opay. Pls help me reverse it. Opay customer’s name Cecilia Chiagoziem Okoro. Pls refund my money,” she added.
In another post, she shared her account details for people to help her with money, to enable her and her children to feed for the main time, while the issue is being sorted out.
Several persons have reacted to the post, including some of her colleagues, with most of them showing empathy to her over what happened to her. Some have already made donations to the bank account she provided for those willing to assist her.
