The hustle freakishly getting too real and hot these days, with everyone’s eyes on the money. This comes as two elder men were Friday June 21, 2024, reportedly caught at the Lagos International Airport, with about 150 wraps of cocaine.
The arrest was carried by the Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), with the suspects identified as Aikhomoun Daniel (alias Oladapo Olanrewaju) and Ayigoro Waheed Omobolaji.
Following their arrest at the Lagos airport, they were afterwards taken into observatory custody. The suspects were said to be on their way to Doha via the Qatar Airways, and we’re intercepted at the Screening point of the terminal-2 of the Lagos international Airport otherwise known as the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos. This comes after they tested positive for ingestion of illicit substances on Friday, June 21.
NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, in a statement on Sunday, June 30, 2024 revealed that, “while Daniel excreted a total of 90 wraps of cocaine weighing 1.022kg in six excretions, Ayigoro discharged 60 wraps of the same Class A substance with a total weight of 662grams in five egestion.
Further, it was revealed through thorough investigation that one of the two suspects, Aikhomoun Daniel actually stole the identity of his late uncle. The said late uncle was once based in Germany, and Daniel decided to steal his identity upon his demise.
He claimed that the reason he is impersonating his late uncle’s identity is to enable him get Schengen visa to further enable him free access to Europe, while his real name is Oladapo Olanrewaju.
