In a certain village in India named Antoli, in the state of Gujarat, a strange but highly interesting story unfolded, between a cow and a certain Leopard.

According to the story, this young leopard as seen in this article, would stroll out of the wild to seek companion and comfort with a certain domesticated cow named Ganga. The pair reportedly spends time together, mostly through out the night, with no harm or hurt meted out to each other.

Initially, the villagers in Antoli were scared and wary of the presence of this young leopard, on the ground that it might turn back to harm them or their livestock tomorrow.

But along the line, they became relaxed and calm over the continued presence of the leopard, because they found out that the leopard wasn’t coming around with a hidden motive. That it was just seeking a genuine companionship with the cow, as the leopard will often been seen resting by the cow’s side or nuzzling against the cow.

Soon, the villagers began to enjoy and marvel at the new found friendship and companionship between the pair. As such, news about the cow and leopard’s friendship spread across to other parts, hence attracting many people to the village of Antoli. People will travel down to the village just to catch a glimpse of the pair and equally make video or take photoshot of them.

Meanwhile, many people suspected that the leopard was actually raised in captivity or had experienced certain exposure to humans. Hence the friendly nature it exhibited and why it wasn’t harsh to humans who came around. Because naturally, Leopards are solitary animals, who do not mingle much with other species or humans.

Many had expected that one day, they will wake up to find a strange situation between the leopard and the cow. Precisely, to see that the leopard would have harmed the cow. But that was not to be as they continued enjoying each other’s company, companion and comfort.

But along the line, it seems the leopard began to develop fears, of being harmed or hurt by humans around, especially as the number of people trooping in to catch a glimpse of the story increased tremendously. As such, the leopard reduced the frequency of its visit, and later stopped coming out to meet the cow any more.
