Big Brother Naija All-Stars’ housemate, Angel Smith and Somadina Anyama have remained one of the most interesting love story for quite some time now.
Meanwhile, fans of the lovebirds were full of joy and happiness when news broke out that they are now officially engaged and will be marrying each other any time from now.
Recall that during the 2023 Big Brother Naija All-Stars’ edition, Soma fell in love with his fellow Housemate in the person of Angel. Shockingly, Soma and Angel were already into a serious relationships with their respective lovers before entering the show in 2023.
But they had to dump their previous ‘serious’ relationships when they met and fell deep in love with each other inside the Big Brother Naija, BBNaija, house as co housemates. And since then, they have not really looked back, even when people had thought otherwise.
While in the Biggie house, they had displayed lots of interesting romantic antics which gave room for speculations about their feelings for each other, including moments they shared deep and passionate kisses, even on the bed, cuddling each other, spending plenty romantic moments together, and more.
And honestly, many people had the thought that their love affairs in the house was just their own winning strategy, but it has continued to prove otherwise; letting the world to know that their love has come to stay against all odds.
Since then, they have continued to thrill everyone with the tales of their beautiful love story and journey. But it hasn’t come without issues as well, as we have seen on some occasions when it seems their love story has actually reached its end point.
They have un-followed each other some time in the past, fueling speculations that they have gone their separate ways. For instance, in March 2024, rumours had it that they have broken up after they un-followed each other on social media.
At some point as well, Soma fuelled speculation about yet another breakup when he seems to have altered a romantic message he left on his page to celebrate Angel on her birthday, were he deliberately yanked off the word “love” from the post.
It went to generate a lot of buzz, arguments, drama and discussions on social media, during which Angel was subjected to series of bashing and mockery as well.
During an interview with TVC in October 2023, Angel openly admitted that she’s deeply in love with Soma, and equally admitted that she’s ready to settling down with him. That if he ever get to propose to her, that she won’t hesitate to saying Yes.
And now, it has finally come to reality as the duo are set to formalize and legalize their love by walking down the aisle. Angel’s bestie and a former Big Brother Naija housemate, Ilebaye Odiniya, has revealed that Angel and Soma will be tying the knot come January 2025.
And one thing that has made their love story so special is the fact that Angel, in spite her dramatic nature, has never failed to make known how much he loves her man, Somadina, at every given opportunity.
She never pretends about how much she’s into him, lavishing the most beautiful words on him. She has severally described him as a sweet soul, which is a rare gesture amongst many women, as they are often reserved about their feelings for a guy; they always want the guy to be the one singing the love song about her, but that is not Angel, she does her thing her way, as long as it makes her happy.
Meanwhile, BBNaija has in the time past produced some couples. Among them are Khafi Kareem and Gedoni Ekpata and Bambam and Teddy A, and now, Angel and her man, Soma, are about to join the prestigious list.
