Yes, Snoop Dogg and his beautiful wife, Shante has indeed set a standard which only a handful are able to meet. The duo have been together for decades, and still waxing stronger. In fact, their path first crossed as teenagers, and since then it has remained inseparable like “Thunder and Lightening”.
The couple have practically been together for about forty (40) years, while 27 years since they got married following their marriage in 1997. Recall that Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jnr A.K.A Snoop Dogg had met his wife Shante sometime in the 80s while still in high school and attended Prom together in 1989, before their marriage in 1997.
Their beautiful union has actually been blessed with three beautiful kids; Corde being the eldest is 29 years old, Cordell is 26 while the last Cori is 24 years old.
During a certain interview, Snoop Dogg revealed why his marriage has actually stood the test of time and still waxing stronger. In his exact words; “we were both willing to sacrifice for each other. She knew what my dreams and goals was, and at the same time, I knew what hers were”.
“To have a family and to be who we are, it was hard, definitely, because so many different things pulling you away from marriage, and people divorcing every other day”.
“But when you truly love somebody, there ain’t nothing you can do to break that up and I feel like that was true love at first sight.”

Another interesting thing about this couple is the fact that they have never hid the admiration they have for each other at every given opportunity. In yet another interview, Snoop Dogg had this to say about his wife;
“Shante has been guiding my career behind the scenes from day one. She has always been my final gut check with all my decisions, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without her. I am grateful to have her as my official manager, helping to build the Snoop Dogg empire together”.
On her part, Shante spoke glowing about her husband’s career, and how’s she has always aligned with his career, ambitions and pursuits, which has actually contributed immensely to who the rapper has become today.
Her words; “I have been by Snoop’s side for over two decades so together with the rest of the team, our goal is to strengthen Snoop’s legacy as a brand with the loyalty and trust of our guidance that has made Snoop who he is today”.
First of all, I know many people will be saying it is because she saw a great future in him, that he has this and that, that’s why she decided to be a part of her husband’s Success story. Well, good a thing we have even seen women married into a wealthy home yet end up as a big mess and vice versa.
So, this woman deserves her flowers, there’s no but to her accolades. To even give a man peace of mind to have focus on his pursuits is one of the hardest things to demand from most women, so hive her that accolades as well.
