The last may not have been heard about the boat accident that claimed the life of popular Nollywood actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo and some others, while working on a movie set owned by their colleague, Adanma Luke Ozuligbo.
TC Virus who was equally in the boat managed to survive, revealing how he prayed with Fanta before boarding the ill-fated boat.
On the other hand, he has revealed how the Executive Producer of the movie, Adanma Luke Ozuligbo had sent police officers to arrest him after surviving the boat accident, alleging that he was responsible for the accident. TC said that Adanma colluding with the careless boat driver came up with a story that the boat accident happened because he was standing inside the boat.
He said when the police officers came to him and demanded he followed them to their station via boat, he wondered if they were actually normal. Yes, on the ground that he has just survived a boat accident, and you are asking him to enter another boat at the same time. That it took his strong resistance and others around before the police men left.
Meanwhile, TC Virus on his part blamed the boat driver for being careless, as he was focused on appearing in the video being done by Junior Pope, hence not seeing the canoe that their boat eventually hit, leading to the boat capside that claimed the lives of their colleagues.
Further, he stated that he’s no longer a member of Nollywood as the industry has tried to take his life on several occasions, including several food poisoning he survived. All these he went through for the peanut he was being paid, as such, that he is quitting acting as his life is too precious to him more than anything else.
He revealed that she only paid him the sum of one hundred thousand Naira (#100,000) for the job in question, which is below what he charge normally. Revealing that he only considered his relationship with Adanma Luke, hence why he decided to reduce his artist fee for her sake.
He equally expressed disappointment at Adanma Luke Ozuligbo, for the way he has handled a lot of things both before and after the boat accident. Citing as well, that she’s a person he respects so much, but that she has lost that respect and regard as a result of the aforementioned.
Meanwhile, Adanma Luke has been banned indefinitely from producing movies in Nollywood, while her current production that claimed lives of Junior Pope and others was equally shut down by the national body of Actors’Guild of Nigeria, AGN, earlier today.
