A friend in need is a friend indeed, and that’s exactly what Cassie Daniel is doing for her ailing course mate who was recently diagnosed with cancer of the bone. Sharing photos of her sick school/course mate identified as Ugwu Rita Chidimma, she appealed to the public to come to the help of Rita.
Meanwhile, she further alleged that Rita is currently not receiving any sort of treatment as her family/parents are actually doing nothing about their daughter’s worsening health condition, basically as there’s no money to treat her.
“Good day everyone , please everyone this is my course mate Rita Ugwu, right now she’s diagnosed with cancer of the bone,” she wrote.
“… currently she’s not taking any treatment because there’s no money to do so, and her family is not saying anything about her,” part of the post reads.
Cassie equally revealed that she and her other class/course mates are raising funds to assist Rita in seeking proper medical attention, but lamented that they cannot do it alone, hence the reason she’s crying to the public for financial assistance on behalf of her course mate.
Note, Rita is currently a student of the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu state, department of Corporative Economics and Management, according to the poster.

Unfortunately, many young people today are increasing being diagnosed with some of these terminal diseases and ailments, which has continued to spark important conversations on what is actually the course of it. Well, there have been some suggestions which points to the fact that it is actually the kind of things people consume these days that is the cause of it all.
For instance, I have watched a couple of health tips and videos which points to the fact that a lot of these young people consume a lot of artificial food, fast foods, noodles, food with preservatives, which are actually not good to their health and body system. Meanwhile, when you look critical at some of these things, you have no option than to agree, basically for the fact that most of our parents and forefathers never witnessed all these sort of sicknesses. Basically for the fact that they really do not partake in the consumption of all these artificial foods that has become the darling of these young people of today.
But be that as it may, we really need to be very careful with our health, especially with what we consume. Just like the saying that says, “drive to arrive alive”, I’m equally appealing to us, “eat to be alive”. Do not be overwhelmed by peer or societal pressure and delve into a habit that will consume you afterwards. Especially considering the kind of government we have in this country, that do not have time to put in place standard, functional and affordable healthcare system, that alone should make you to be very careful with your health regards what you consume.
Meanwhile, it is a big shame on our leaders/government that till date, there are no health centers for people like Rita to get medical attention, but they can actually loot the entire world without a prick in their conscience. Tomorrow, same people will be preaching for people to stop running out of the country, or for those outside to come home, you can imagine such rubbish. Now, look at this young lady of Rita, watching her life going down without any visible help coming her way, and tomorrow if she gets the chance to run away from the country, you think she will give it a second thought? No way!
I dare say it, that the blood of innocent Nigerians, people like Rita, will hunt everyone who has a hand in the conspiracy to destroy this country by stealing resources meant for the development of the country. I’m equally appealing to the public to reach out to her and see how to help her condition.
