Popular Nigerian actor and politician, Yul Edochie has once again been in the news in the past few days, following his attack on Arise TV presenter, Rufai Oseni. His outburst on the presenter was as a result of a fall out during a TV program between Rufai and one of their guests, who is a member and chieftain of the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress, APC.
So, Yul Edochie who recently started supporting President Tinubu, took it personal and called out Rufai in a social media video posted on his verified Instagram page. He subjected the presenter to all sorts of unsavoury remarks, which further stirred up mixed reactions amongst many people, especially Nigerians.
While many people alleged that the Nollywood actor is desperately fighting to be noticed by President Tinubu as to be given a political appointment, some others had different opinion, and one of them is one Instagram user identified as David Umeha (@davidumehaa) who alleged that it has become obvious that the actor is not really the blood of veteran Nollywood actor, Chief Pete Edochie, as he (Yul) was allegedly exchanged at the hospital during his birth.
“it’s now obvious that there was a mixed up at the hospital. Someone stole Pete Edochie’s Son and drop you,” @davidumehaa wrote.
At the time of this publication, the popular and controversial Arise TV presenter, Rufai Oseni, was yet to respond to the video attack on his person by Yul Edochie.
On the other hand, Yul Edochie has since fell out with many people, especially Nigerians since he went for a second wife, in the person of actress Judy Austin, against the consent of his first wife of over fifteen years, May. And things got worse following the death of the actor’s first son, Kambilichukwu Yul Edochie, few months later.
