It was indeed a day of mixed reactions, feelings and mood as fans were filled with joy and happiness as video of Davido and Chioma’s new babies (twins) flooded social media platforms. Meanwhile, the video was equally shared by veteran music producer, Samklef on his verified Instagram page, which immediately drew out the beast in Davido.
Angered by the obvious invasion of his privacy, Davido immediately called out Samklef, labelling him “clout chaser, wicked person” while equally asking him to take down the video from his page. The issue which has since gone viral across social media platforms seems to have overshadowed the earlier good news.
But in the face of everything, fans of the music star continued sharing the said video as continued to celebrate with Davido and Chioma. On the other hand, Samklef quickly put out a post, denying being responsible for the leaked video of Davido’s Twins, stating clearly that he got the video from Twitter.
He made series of post in that regard, of which one of them reads, “saw the video on their blogs on Twitter and posted, what did I do wrong? Na me record the video? …
Na crime for me to post like other blogs, abi I no understand the way? Let Samklef breathe.”
In another subsequent post, he said he may consider posting negative stuffs about Davido, including the ones people sent to his private message, of which he claimed that Davido’s manager, Asa Asika, is aware of.
“I mean good for them, but they meant harm for me. May be I should start blogging all the negative post about him here that have been sent to me, but ignore, ask Asa Asika,” he wrote on his verified Instagram page.
Samklef who has had running beef with some of the big names in the Nigerian music industry went on to ask people to continue showing love to Davido as he’s a king as stated in the Holy Bible.
“Drop some emojis of love for Davido and Samklef. For Bible David was a king and Samuel was a prophet. Love and light,” his post reads.
Meanwhile, many people have asked Samklef to desist from ridiculing himself with some of these things he indulge into, while some others took side with him and further asked him to stop forcing himself on those who do not want him (Samklef). Also, there are people who blamed Davido for his choice of words, and going ahead to make it clear that it wasn’t Samklef who first posted the video as it has long been trending on Twitter before Samklef posted it.
Someone made a vital remark over this matter, alleging that Samklef only got such treatment from Davido simply because he (Samklef) is not a member of their circle, as such, advised Samklef to learn to grow his own circle.
Though, while Davido had asked Samklef to delete the said video of his new twins, the post is still available on Samklef’s verified Instagram page, as he has refused to take it down. Though he claimed to have sorted things out with Davido.
