Late Nollywood actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo, was finally laid to rest yesterday Friday May 17, 2024 in his hometown in Ukehe, Igbo-Etiti Council Area of Nsukka Enugu, and there were many notable persons in attendance.
Sadly, some persons were conspicuously missing, including colleagues of the deceased like Angela Okorie and TC Okafor popularly known as TC Virus. Many had expected to see the two at the said burial ceremony, especially Angela Okorie who had attacked many persons in the industry whom she claimed knows what really happened to Junior Pope.
Recall she had consistently attacked and insulted Zubby Michael since the death of Junior Pope, make all sorts of unfounded allegations against him regards Junior Pope’s death. In fact, at a point, people begin to wonder if she has some vital information about his death, going by the way she was making those allegations against her colleagues, especially Zubby Michael.
Now, people have come to believe that she was actually chasing clout as she couldn’t find time to visit Ukehe for Junior Pope’s burial ceremony, same person she was saying all sorts of unprintable things on social media for his sake.
Even the Zubby Michael she has attacked and insulted in all manner that pleases her, was present at the burial ceremony. Then you wonder why she wasn’t there after all these drama she put up on social media over the death of Junior Pope.
Angela Okorie was actually using the death of Junior Pope to settle old scores with Zubby Michael and nothing else. She has no credible information linking Zubby to Junior Pope’s death, all were clout chasing and settlement of lingering scores and bitterness between them.
Meanwhile, TC Virus who was part of the boat mishap that killed Junior Pope and others, and was equally close to him in the industry, was absent as well. An action that has continued to shock many people. TC whom many people have continued to call for his arrest on the ground that he knows a lot about what happened to Junior Pope, yet he refused to go pay his last respect to a colleague.
Rather, he has been busy using the incident to create contents on social media, in other words, cashing out with such an incident that has continued to cause tears and pains for many people. Sadly, in spite the backlashes he has received for these contents, he has obstinately continued to make such videos in the name of contents.
Well, he must have failed to be at the burial ceremony for fear of being attacked by the angry fans and lovers of Junior Pope, especially his people in Ukehe. Yes, because many already have grudges against him for different reasons, of which he is fully aware of.
If not for any other thing, for the fact that he has continued to make mockery of the incident that killed their son, which has made many to be so bitter and angry with him.
