Nigerian Prophet who recently predicted that the world was going to end on the 25th of April 2024, has finally given reasons why his prophecy didn’t come to pass…

Just as many people were patiently waiting after parking their luggages for rapture to occur on April 25, 2024 by a certain Nigerian man of God identified as Prophet Metu, another development has surfaced regards the rapture.

Recall that few days ago the prophet took to social media to cause panic with his rapture message, as many people weren’t really prepared for such adventure. But now, he has given hope to people with his most recent prophecy or revelation as regards the much anticipated rapture.

According to his message posted via his official X account @prophetmetu, “the Lord showed us mercy; after our 21 days of fasting and prayer, he heard us and gave us more time to live”.

Expectedly, the post has sparked mixed reactions from Netizens, with most people lamenting the level of mockery in the Christian fold by some overzealous men of God.

“If it were in the days of Abraham and Moses lightening and thunder would’ve been visiting some people daily. Yeye” @ Big Mami Yoyet.

A certain Michael Odogwu Kelvin wrote, “Infact, I’ll give my support if govt option to close down churches and Mosque in Nigeria”.

“please it wasn’t the man of God but the excess liquor in his body that gave that prophecy,” @ Realway Ndukaku remarked.

“Even we his church congregation are tied of his prophecies,” @ Master King wrote.

“Maybe he smoke Ghana Igbo (Indian Hemp),” @ Emeka Patorankin

“Hmmmmm nowadays some man of God are the ones calling God not God calling them may God help us all,” @ Rossy Chioma wrote as well.

Jokes aside, some of these men of God are the reason why many people do not take Christianity serious any more. You can imagine the level of jokes the person who calls himself a prophet is indulging into. God have mercy on us.
