Popular and highly philanthropic man of God, Prophet Jeremiah Omotofufeyin has finally come to the aid of the family of deceased Nollywood Photographer and sound engineer, Precious Chimaobi Ofurum.
Meanwhile, the prophet who is widely known for his philanthropic gestures presented a cheque of ten million Naira (10,000,00), to support the family at this difficult moments in their life, especially the mother who has been crying for intervention from their state government.
Recall that the young boy who works as a crew member in Nollywood died alongside popular Nollywood actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo, on April 10, 2024 in Anam Anambra state, following a boat mishap. The boat accident had occured in River Niger on their way back from a movie location.
Well, in the face of the tragic incident and the lamenting of the mother of the deceased, for the Rivers State government to help them bring home her son, for him to be buried properly, just like the Akwa-Ibom State Government did few days ago by exhuming their daughter, Abigail Fredrick, taking her home and was given a proper burial afterwards.
Sadly, the deceased who has since been buried by the River side according to certain tradition, due to the inability of the family to raise funds to perform certain alleged rituals to enable them carry the Corpse home and bury him in a proper.
