As the European transfer window is few days away from shutting down, we have got some important transfer stories from around, including the unending drama involving Osimhen and his potential move away from Napoli.

Done Deal!

Arsenal have finally confirmed the signing of Mikel Merino, a Spanish midfielder. The London outfit acquired him for €32m plus €5m in add-ons, and he penned down a four year contract with option for one more season.

While Mikel Arteta had wanted him that badly, Merino on the other hand had several proposals from other top clubs, including from clubs in Spain. But the player on his part needed to move to Arsenal football club as well, his mind was already with the club.

VICTOR OSIMHEN:

While it is yet to be ascertained where is the next destination for Nigerian international, Victor Osimhen, it is reported that French Ligue1 champions, PSG, have actually pulled out of the Osimhen deal.

Chelsea and Al Ahli of Saudi Pro league are still the only clubs in pursuit of the current CAF African footballer of the year.

While Chelsea are still in talks with him, the player has remained obstinate that he doesn’t plan to reduce his current salary of about £252k a week, which is he earns at his current club, Napoli.

And the salary is one of the major obstacle towards him being signed by Chelsea, of which it is alleged that Chelsea want him placed on performance wage; to be paid £130k a week, then if he performs well his salary will be increased at the end of the season, but Osimhen’s camp doesn’t want such kind of deal.

Well, Al Ahli are still interested in him, and are ready to sign him if the Chelsea deal fails to materialize in the end.

TAMMY ABRAHAM:

The former Chelsea striker is reportedly wanted by Italian giant, AC Milan. As such, Milan and AS Roma are already in talks over the player.

AC Milan have always had him on their list since July, and it is reported that Milan are equally trying to see how to involve one player in the deal as well, more like a swap deal, with some cash addition.

While rumours has linked West Ham to the player, currently there’s no talks and no official contact between both camps

FEDERICO CHIESA:

The Juventus player has reportedly given the go ahead for a potential move to Liverpool, as the player is said to be so much interest in the deal.

There’s currently an official contact between the two clubs, with negotiations already happening involving all parties. The Reds are confident the deal will be finalized soon.

JADON SANCHO:

There are several discussions regards the future of Sancho, including one involving Chelsea Football Club.

Chelsea are weighing all options, including a possible swap deal with Manchester United, involving Raheem Sterling.

Also, Juventus are in serious talks over a move for the player, but on a loan deal with a buy clause. Though United are still weighing the best options, and hopefully it will be a done deal soon.

MANUEL UGARTE:

There’s been lots of buzz around the player, with many people already hyping him above Manchester City and Spain playmaker, Rodri.

Well, he has been given the permission to travel to Manchester United to continue his own part of the negotiations and otherwise, possibly to finalize the deal.

EDDIE NKETIAH:

The french man is set to join Crystal Palace in a deal worth about £25m fixed fee plus £5m add-ons.

The player has since accepted the deal, and what’s next is his medicals.

Unfortunately, many Arsenal fans are not happy with the deal, as they preferred a loan for Nketiah. They are of the opinion that Harvetz and Jesus are not enough for the club and might turn out to be a costly mistake for the club in the end, except another striker is recruited before the transfer window is closed in few days time.

MARC BERNAL:

The young and talented Barcelona player sustained a serious injury during their league match against Rayo Vallecano on Tuesday night, August 27.

The club has revealed that Marc BERNAL tore his ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) during the game, and is expected to be out for several months. Though the club will communicate officially about that on Wednesday.

Our heart goes out to him, wishing him quick recovery as well!
