News reaching us this evening alleged that successful Nollywood actresses, producers and filmmakers, Ruth kadiri and Omoni Oboli are set to collide with each other over certain issues involving actors discovered by the former.
According to popular Instagram blogger, Tosin Silver Dam, he reported that Ruth kadiri is no longer happy with the way her colleague, Omoni Oboli has been poaching acting talents she discovered and nurtured to stardom in the industry. He further alleged that as a result, Ruth has angrily locked out one of these actors from her Instagram and Whatsapp group.
“Fight go soon start between Ruth kadiri and Omoni Oboli ooo. All because of their successful movies on YouTube. One is poaching the other one’s young actors to the extent that Ruth kadiri allegedly blocked one of the young actors working with her her om IG/Whatsapp, even removed him from Whatsapp group…”

Funny enough, I have seen a lot of people supporting Ruth kadiri, though I’m not really surprised because I have mingled with people a lot, especially on social media platforms, and have come to understand the level of emotional sentimentality bedeviling their lives.
If this story end up being true, then I think Ruth kadiri is not getting it right because I have not seen where an actor is restricted to just one producer or production. How on earth do you expect such an actor to grow bigger and equally earn good money with his or her talent?
Movie is not music, were you are signed to a particular record label, and as such, barred from contracting any music business with any other record label except the record label you are signed to say so.

Meanwhile, these actors discovered and nurtured by Ruth kadiri should equally give her preferential treatment ahead of others. Yes, that should be one of the major gains she should be enjoying from them as a result of her role in making them what they are today.
