Veteran Nollywood actor, Digidii Dunhill has come out to make startling revelations about wife of sick and hospitalized Nollywood actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu. Recall that the Enugu State born comic actor has been in the hospital for some weeks now, with a swollen leg which is being rumoured faces amputation should the actor not be flown out of the country urgently, for a proper attention.

Well, in the face of this, there has been serious call for donations from well meaning people, to take care of the ailing actor’s expensive medical bills. While millions of money has allegedly been donated, there has equally been accusations and counter accusations from different quarters, most prominent is between Mr. Ibu’s wife, Stella Maris Okafor and the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria, AGN. Ibu’s wife accused the Nollywood body of lying to have made their own donations to their ailing member, that they have not donated anything to her sick husband.

On the other hand, Digidii Dunhill accused the ailing actor’s wife of only interested on capitalizing on her husband’s sickness to make money for herself. Further, he alleged that Ibu’s wife is not happy that the money being donated to Mr. Ibu is paid directly into his account, as she had wanted to be in charge of the millions of Naira donated to the veteran actor.

“Never marry a wife that wants to get rich with your sickness. He (Ibu) should have over 40 million raised by actors and friends even before her noise and rants… she’s not just happy that every money is paid into Ibu’s account,” part of his post reads.

Further, he revealed that both Stella Maris and Ibu’s adopted daughter, Jasmine are collaborating on the agenda of generating pity from people for Ibu as to force out money from people, for their own selfish interest.

“She’s working with Jasmine that is claiming to be his daughter, but she is not, they want to generate pity for money. They know exactly what they are doing,” he continued.

Digidii also revealed that when they celebrated Ibu last month in Abuja, that within few hours (between 7pm to 11pm) they have raised millions of Naira for Ibu. As such, he admonished Ibu’s wife to stop making the actor appear as a poor man as he’s not. In the post, he also made an insinuation that points to the angle that she might not have treated the actor well, back then when they lived in Satellite town, Lagos State.

He equally made it known that Ibu has people who with just a phone call will raise millions of Naira for his sake,

Well, in as much as I cannot say much about this very matter, all I’m saying is that, if anyone is playing games with Ibu’s health should desist from such immediately, this is not the right time for such. We are talking about somebody’s life here, a critically sick man, who needs all the care and support at this period of his life shouldn’t be subjected to any form of treatment that will either worsen his health condition or jeopardize the good efforts of others.

Be guided, all we want to hear or see, is that our darling actor, Mr. Ibu, has been treated and back on his feet again, because he still has a lot of things to contribute to humanity.
