Veteran Nollywood actor and movie director, Ugezu J Ugezu was thrilled as a certain oyibo child was playing with a turkey, to the extent that the child and the turkey had to share a harmless embrace.
He wondered why almost everything becomes totally different when it gets to the land of Africa, considering the fact that the turkeys we have in this part of the world are not as friendly as the one in his post. In fact, the ones we have here are often aggressive, always ready to chase and fight people.
“Everything changes into something else once they get to Africa. I don’t know why,” he wrote, and added, “na the same turkey wey dey look for who to mend for Africa be this”.
Some others have equally joined the conversation, with some attributing it to the fact that we hardly show love and care to animals in this part of the world, hence they are often aggressive towards people.
“Not about Africa, the thing is that what you give you receive, if you show love even to animals, they’ll reciprocate with love,” @topnotchbeautylincs remarked.
“Honestly, turkey once pursued me, and it wasn’t funny, very aggressive turkey,” @franugo wrote.

But truth be told, most people in Africa do not really show enough care and love to all these creatures, it is often a case of “cat and rat”. And just like one of the comments states, once you show love, be it to your fellow human or other creatures, there’s the likely outcome of same love being reciprocated.
