We Nigerians are very good at carrying people’s problem on our head, even when we have no atom of affiliation to such problem. And once again, we have demonstrated same as photos of Victor Osimhen and his girlfriend and also the mother of his beautiful daughter, Stephanie Ladewig, surfaced online this night.

The photos were taken while the lovebirds were attending the famous Serie-A football awards known as AIC Oscar del Calcio Awards in Italy. The photos shared by Brilla FM via their official Facebook page sparked instant mixed reactions from people mostly Nigerians, with many frowning at the fact that the Nigerian international footballer decided to pick a foreigner as his partner, rather than come back to Nigeria for that.

Many of them advised him to seek advice from PSG player, Hakimi, who was in the news sometime ago, when it was alleged that upon the separation of him and his partner, it was discovered that the player had no tangible asset to his name. That he allegedly used his mother’s name to purchase all his assets/properties, hence making it impossible for his divorcing partner get shares from assets.

While some openly frowned at the idea that he has gone for a white woman, regardless of the past experiences of his fellow African footballers in the hands of some foreign women, most prominent being the story of former Arsenal and Ivory Coast defender, Emmanuel Eboue.

First see some of these comments as we captured below…

Unfortunately, we have this trademark lifestyle of drinking Panadol for another’s headache, as such, we know what’s the best for others. Even people we do not know their story or have never had any story about their lifestyle, yet we seems to know what’s good and best for them as well. What could be more funnier or crazier than such?

For instance, what story or idea do all these people making these comments do they know or have about Osimhen and Stephanie Ladewig? Even what brought them together, none of them is aware of that, yet we all know what’s the best for the young man. Equally, they also know what the end of their relationship will eventually come to be! I can’t really stop laughing.

In as much as this might sound funny, but personally I do not find it funny any longer, yes, I do not. First of all, do you know how these people, especially the lady, will feel seeing comments? You do not know that all these crazy comments from you guys is very much capable of destroying that relationship? On the other hand, how on earth do you want to convince a person like me, that a grown man like Osimhen doesn’t know what is best for himself, that it is you who is probably seated in another continent, country or part of the world, who knows what is best for Osimhen?

Also, I think the time is really ripe for us to start respecting the choices made by people, especially adults, be it our family members or outsiders, respect their choices, as long as it is not affecting your life or existence in any way.

Stop bullying and castigating people online, for the decisions they make for their private lives, it is not in your position to do so. Yes, because if people starts to make choices or decisions based on your opinion, who takes responsibility should things go wrong afterwards? You would be nowhere to be found! So, allow people make their choices, and equally live without the benefits and consequences afterwards, enough of this show of shame we often exhibit in the name of being wise, smart, intelligent and knowing it all attitude.

And for those who are not aware, Stephanie Ladewig was born and raised in Germany, as such, she’s a German citizen, but of African descent, precisely from Cameroon. Her mother who died in 2018 came from Cameroon, while her dad is reportedly from Germany. It is reported that she and Osimhen must have met each other while he was still in Germany playing for VFL Wolfsburg, where Stephanie was a cheerleader then. While Osimhen was born in December 1998, Stephanie was born in September 2000.

Besides, how many of you people that are making these comments can truly resist such a great beauty endowed on Stephanie Ladewig? Abeg make una rest in Jesus name, Amen! Lol.
