He reminded Nigerians of how many times they have gone to war with each other simply because of tribal differences…

The war of words and drama between South Africans and Nigerians seems to be very far from over as every now and then, it shows up its ugly head.

And the most recent being the issues surrounding Chidimma Adetshina Vanessa who was evicted from Miss South Africa pageantry due to issues concerning her nationality.

Well, the matter is not yet over as a recent social media conversation has once again triggered yet another issues, leading to a young South African man identified as Tyler Nxumalo, wondered why Nigerians expect South Africans to love them when they don’t even love themselves as Nigerians.

While reacting to the original issue about why South Africans treated Chidimma badly, a Nigerian man identified as Akorede Saoban Badmos said, it is simply because she’s of Nigeria origin and nothing else.

In his exact words, he wrote; “the sin of Miss Chidimma is because she’s a Nigerian or Nigerian origin. South Africa has always shown hatred towards Nigerians and Nigeria while we accommodate them and their business wholeheartedly“.

While trying to defend his country, the South African man, Tyler Nxumalo, alleged that Nigerians commit a lot of atrocities in their country, hence why they are hated. And also, should it be that Chidimma’s mother didn’t steal someone’s identity that she wouldn’t have been disqualified from the Miss South Africa pageantry.

Then he went further to state that he read about the war between the Igbos and Yorubas in Nigeria. Which made him to ask, if Nigerians don’t love themselves, why then are they expecting others like South Africans to love them.

In his exact words; “I read that there are two tribes in Nigeria called the Igbo and Yoruba, they’ve been to war with each other many times, so I ask myself, if Nigerians don’t like each other because of tribal differences then why should someone from outside Nigeria like them?

I’m speechless because this hit me so hard as a Nigerian. We have seen one of the consequences of washing our dirty linings in the public because one it will come back to us, which is exactly what happened here now.
