Transgender and Cross Dresser, Daniel Anthony Nsikan popularly known as Jay Boogie has finally come out to make clarifications regards all the controversies surrounding his health issues in the past few weeks, following the botched BBL surgery performed on him by a certain Nigerian lady surgeon in Lagos State.
Recall that at a point, it was widely circulated that Jay Boogie was down with a serious kidney problem, which equally alleged that he needs kidney transplant, hence the reason he was begging for public donations. While all these were ongoing, story broke out that he doesn’t need any kidney transplant, alleging that he was only trying to scam people through health sympathy.
But in this press statement he released this Sunday night, he stated that there was never a time he claimed to have suffered Kidney problem that requires a transplant, that he only talked about being diagnosed with Sepsis and acute kidney injury during the botched BBL surgery. Which equally made it impossible for him to urinate properly. And it was due to the money involved in the treatment that prompted him to cry out to the public for donations to help him take care of his mounting hospital bills.
“I never scammed Nigerians, I never lied, and I did not defraud anyone. I had Sepsis and acute kidney injury, and I was on dialysis,” part of his statement reads.
Jay equally revealed how he had to stop coming online and seized all forms of communication, just for the sake of his mental health, because of the level of bullying he was subjected to by people. While he thanked all those who donated for the sake of his health, he revealed that he was only discharged from the hospital few days ago, precisely on November 28, and that he is recovering well and has stopped dialysis for now.

On the other hand, in the face of his health predicaments following the failed nyash surgery, many people had criticized him for going for the surgery in the first place, when already, he has a very beautiful and enviable body shape.
Even, some took it upon themselves to campaign against any form of financial assistance for the transgender, citing that Jay deliberately brought the health predicaments upon himself, as such, that he should bear with it. But be that as it may, some others still had the good and forgiving heart to see the need to donate to him.
