Most people have often said it that this country Nigeria is already worthy of being enlisted on the global movie streaming platform “Netflix”. Yes, this is because of the unending melodramatic activities we are accosted with always.
Well, a Nigerian lady has just been served a tasteless breakfast as her boyfriend has sent her packing simply because she took part in her school activity tagged “Rag Day,”. It is an annual student activity in which students in higher institutions in the country dress in rags and go about begging for alms.
Well, the said girl’s boyfriend is not a fan of such, and has called off their relationship of about three years.
“what was the meaning of that rubbish you did yesterday all in the name of rag day?”
“See ehn I couldn’t believe that was you, in even scared. Let’s not stress this I’m not sure this can even work again, I don’t know if I’m dating a mad person, do you know how many of my friends saw you yesterday?
Did you see yourself? I’m so ashamed of you,” the said boyfriend wrote to her via WhatsApp.
She went on begging for his understanding and forgiveness, but it does seem she was just pouring water into a basket as he stood by his decision that their relationship is over.

Many people have actually asked the girl to move on with her life as such a man is not worthy of keeping as one’s serious partner as he would actually have too many strict attributes that will cage her or any other woman.
But on a serious note, I do not think this young man in question really understands what he’s even doing. Even if he doesn’t like the idea behind rag day, he should have simply warn her, and if she does it again then he can react how he wants. He is just being too dramatic and autocratic over a matter that can easily be resolved.
