Nigerian female singer and songwriter, Chimamanda Pearl Chukwuma, professionally known as Qing Madi has left no words hidden elsewhere as she goes all out to lavish sweet and heart melting words on her senior colleague, Wizkid.
Appearing on a podcast session “P&S Uncensored” she revealed that she met Wizkid two weeks ago, and surprised to find out how down-to-earth the singer is, compared to the impression she had previously about the “Ojuelegba” crooner. That he was just so calm, humble and cracked jokes to make everyone happy.
“I know that Wizkid is a famous musician. A few weeks ago, I met him and was surprised by how down-to-earth he was. He acted like a regular person, not a superstar. He was very calm and humble, telling jokes and trying to make my sister and me laugh,” she revealed during the podcast interviews.
She also said that with the humility and simplicity she met in Wizkid during that moment, she nearly forgot that she was actually with such a superstar like Wizkid.
“When I arrived, he called me a superstar, and I joked, “Are you talking about me or introducing yourself?” He was so humble and kind that I almost forgot he was the famous Wizkid,” she added.
Then she talked about how Wizkid had dished out some quality pieces of advice to her, which has helped her career a lot.
“I got to spend some time with him and had a mini interview. He gave me advice that has really helped me in my career,” she said as well.
