Naira Marley Come Under Severe Backlashing After Paying Tribute to Mohbad in His New Music Video.

Mohbad may have departed the world months ago, but the controversies surrounding both his time on earth and his death is far from walking the same path as the deceased. From time to time we are confronted with one story involving the later singer, and this time around, it has to do with his former record label boss, Naira Marley.

Recall that in the aftermath of Mohbad’s death, a lot of accusing fingers had pointed to Naira Marley and his close pal, Sam Harry, as to have allegedly know about the death of Mohbad. While both have denied any involvement in his death, the police has equally freed them after weeks of being under their custody while being interrogated.

Well, Naira Marley has finally paid tribute to Mohbad. In the opening scene of the said video, a small tribute dedicated to Mohbad reads, “rest in peace Mohbad AKA Imole. We’ll honour your memory forever”.

As such, angry Nigerians have come for Naira Marley’s head following his tribute to his deceased former record label signee, Mohbad, in his his new music video. Many accused him of trying to use the late singer to draw attention to his new music video as to gain massive streaming and viewing from the general public. Some even made claims that Naira Marley is aware that his songs won’t do well in the market any longer, hence he cunningly dragged Mohbad’s name into the new music video.

Recall that following the death of Mohbad many people have vowed never to listen to any music from Naira Marley or artist related to his record label. On the other hand, some persons, like the controversial Very Dark Black Man, have strongly defended Naira Marley following the series of attacks he has been receiving since Mohbad’s death, on the ground that there’s a conspiracy to pin Mohbad’s death on him.
