Ailing veteran Nollywood actor, John Okafor popularly known as Mr. Ibu may have undergone a successful surgery on his leg and equally recovering well, but unfortunately many things are not really the best in his family, especially between his wife, Stellamarris Okafor and the actor’s adopted daughter, Jasmine Okafor. She’s confused on why a total stranger like Jasmine should be fighting her over her own family matter.
According to Mrs. Ibu, the said Jasmine has been fighting so hard to sideline her from affairs of her family, as such aiming to make her a total stranger in her own home. She made it clear that the only money she (Mrs. Ibu) is in control of is the one million Naira her husband instructed be given to her, for the running of the family and other arising family needs.
Further, she revealed how it is only Jasmine that is in total and sole control of the Access Bank account where people have been donating money into, for the sake of Mr. Ibu’s health challenge. That problem started when she demanded for Jasmine to account for all the transactions involving the said bank account, as she suspected some foul play at a point.
On the allegation of she demanding for her own car at a point like this is not true, that it was her younger brother who lives with them that made the innocent suggestion to Jasmine. Of which it was just to help in the daily running of activities, both at home and at the hospital, but that Jasmine has twisted the matter as to make her look like a bad wife. Then stated that Jasmine is doing all these just in her way of manipulating things as to allow her to continue managing the said bank account alone, without questioning or interference from her (Mrs. Ibu) or anyone else.
Mrs. Ibu equally made it clear that there was never a time she took Jasmine’s name to any native doctor’s place to harm Jasmine or do any other thing. She also clarified that she’s not a believer of such and will never patronize it. On the other hand, she stated that all she’s concerned with at the moment is her husband’s health. So, until her husband recovers fully, that she will come back later to revisit this matter and equally let the world know many hidden things about Jasmine and her mission in her family.
Though this is not the first time such acrimonious relationship has existed between the two women, but it is shocking to learn of this one, considering the fact that Mr. Ibu doesn’t need such at a time like this, as it may likely worsen his health condition.
Many people have equally blasted Jasmine for always having confrontations with Mr. Ibu’s wife, as it is only few women who can actually tolerate such. Because many women out there would have asked their husband to choose between them and the third party occupying such vital position in their marriage/family.
Well, recall that Mr. Ibu recently had a successful leg surgery, were one of his legs was amputated, which the doctor said it is the best for the sake of ensuring that the veteran Nollywood actor stays alive.
