The unending drama trailing the unfortunate death of talented Nigerian musician, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba better known as Mohbad, has really over-stretched the emotional elasticity of many of those interested in finding justice for the deceased, as there’s always new dimension to the matter everyday.
Well, the latest is coming from Mohbad’s Father, Mr Joseph Aloba, who has now put so much blame on the wife of the late singer, and equally making a revelation about what seems to be a pointer that Mohbad’s wife knows about his death. This was made known on Wednesday October 25, 2023 at the Coroner’s inquest in Lagos State.
He accused her of being an unfaithful woman, who used to sleep around with other artists signed to the Marlian Records, to the extent that she do put sleeping pills in Mohbad’s noddles, just to have the opportunity to sleep around the house they all lived in.
He made it clear that his son has never fallen sick throughout the eighteen (18) years Mohbad lived with him, except for a certain time, at the age of sixteen (16) when he took Mohbad to a patent medicine store, popularly called “Chemist”, for the treatment of the rashes causing havoc on his body/skin.
He equally alleged that his late son had visited him about three days before his death, and revealed to him that his wife is in possession of all the documents to his landed properties, which she, the wife, kept with her mother, till date.
He also talked about the reconciliation of his son with his mother, which took place when the late singer started making progress in his career, and he bought his dad a new car for that singular gesture of allowing him (Mohbad) and also making it possible for him to reconcile with his mother after many years of being apart.
On the other hand, he denied knowledge of the fact that his son’s neck was twisted to fit into the casket his corpse was confined to, on the ground that he was not physically present at the burial of his deceased son.
Many people have equally lashed out at both the singer’s dad and wife, for being too desperate about Mohbad’s landed properties, far more than they are regards finding justice for the deceased.
Meanwhile, recall that popular social media sensation, The VeryDarkBlack Man has attracted lots of enemy to himself, simply because he has continued to insist that Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi, has a lot to answer regarding the circumstances surrounding the death of Mohbad. But his factual though blunt opinion on the matter did not go down well with many people, including the likes of Blessing CEO, Tonto Dikeh, Iyabo Ojo, and many other social media users. They claimed that the woman in question is still a mourning and nursing mother, of a baby of just five months old, as such, that she should be allowed to face her current predicaments she’s contending with.
It is just so unfortunate that the late singer has to go through all these drama and show of shame before he will be allowed to rest in peace in the actual sense of it, including finding justice for him. Now, all these everyday different drama will continue to postpone the justice many are seeking for, and as such, may end up as being “justice delayed is just denied”.
