Mohbad’s Death: Police Finally Lay Hands on Sam Larry & Already Assisting With Useful Information

Popular Nigerian socialite and businessman, Samson Olamilekan Eletu Balogun otherwise known as Sam Larry has finally been apprehended by the Nigeria Police, as he will be answering questions in connection with the mysterious death of fast rising and talented Nigerian musician, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

In a post made via their verified Facebook page late Thursday night, September 27, 2023, they made it clear that Sam Larry is currently in their custody, and that already, he is assisting the police with useful information regards the ongoing investigation into the cause and circumstances surrounding the death of Mohbad.

Prior to this moment, Nigerians have continued to urge the police to arrest Sam Larry and Naira Marley, to come and give account of what they know regarding the death of the late singer. This comes as the duo had flee the country in the aftermath of Mohbad’s death and the revelations relating to the unfortunate incident. Though the Nigeria Police eventually extended invitation to the duo, but they have equally issued separate statements distancing themselves from Mohbad’s death.

Recall that when the news of Mohbad’s death broke out on September 12, 2023, many revelations began to trickle out, about all the agonizing experiences he went through prior to his unfortunate death, and in one of the videos, Sam Larry who’s a known ally of Naira Marley, had led some boys to attack Mohbad where he and Zlatan Ibile were shooting a music video in a location in Lagos State. In the video, Sam Larry who was stopped by Zlatan were seen with the boys he came with, wielding different weapons, including sticks, etc.

On the other, Naira Marley has promised to make himself available to the police with regards to the investigation into Mohbad’s death. Meanwhile, Naira Marley owns the former Record Label, Marlian Music, which Mohbad was previously signed to, until they fell apart and their relationship allegedly turned sour.
