Popular music producer, Dr. Roy was in tears during a recent podcast session with Nedu Wazobia. During the session, he talked about how he and Mercy Chinwo hard out their ass, trying to come up with some great songs for fans out there.
He revealed how they had to sleep very late and waking up very early in the morning. “We sleep by 5 a.m., wake up by 7 a.m., and start working until 5 a.m.,” he revealed during the podcast session with Nedu.
On the other hand, he talked about the efforts put in by him to ensure that his family are well taken care of, unfortunately things weren’t really happening as he planned.
On the time his father was sick and had stroke, he reached out to Mercy, begging her for financial assistance, “my father is not feeling too well; if you have anything you can assist me with, just assist me so I can take care of my father”.
He broke into tears before revealing that Mercy only told him, “don’t worry, he will be fine”.
And that’s was all she said to him, and ended up not asking him. But many people have continued to react to the podcast, making it clear that Mercy Chinwo owes him nothing, as long as she pays him for the job he does for her.
While some others took sympathy with the producer, citing that she should have helped out, no matter the amount, because no one has it all, and that it could equally be her turn tomorrow to seek assistance from some others as well.
