Meet Top Nollywood Director Who Used To Ride Okada + His Journey At Colorado Film School, USA.

Success is one thing every human desires, and one who equally has lots of friends. But the journey to Success is never meant for the weak or those who quits along the journey.

That brings us to the story of this top Nollywood movie director, filmmaker, producer and actor, identified as Ikechukwu Onyeka. Prior to him joining Nollywood, he used to be a commercial motorcyclist popularly known as an okada rider.

He joined Nollywood as a property manager, then grew into a production manager, then a producer. He continued growing in the industry that he later became a producer, then became assistant director and today, he’s one of the best movie directors around, with several blockbusters to his name.

In 2012, Ikechukwu Onyeka enrolled at the prestigious Colorado Film School in the United States of America, were he studied Cinematography. According to him, his journey into the school was simply driven by his quest for more and adequate knowledge about filmmaking.

Meanwhile, between the year 1998 to 2006, he was reported to have directed over seventy (70) movies and produced close to twenty movies. He went on to even founded his own movie company named “Iykon Pictures” which handles a lot of production projects.

Some of the Nollywood movies to his credit include, “A Private Storm, Warrior’s Heart, A Slave To Trust, Unforseen, Eagle’s Bride, The Captain, Corporate Maid, Intimidation, Mr And Mrs, The Grave Dust, Reloaded, Forgetting June, Brother’s Keeper.

Some others include Magic Cap, Brain Box, Demon In-law, Be My Wife, Obscure Motives, I Believe, House On The Hills, Full House, Mama’s Love, The Banker, Fine Girl, and many others.

He’s not a social media flick, hence why most people do not really get to know about him or his works in the industry, but he’s really a force to reckon with in Nollywood.
