When Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels and Billionaire Prince Ned Nwoko were at the infant stages of their marriage journey, most Nigerians actually wrote them off, with millions of them coming up with their doomsday prophecies.
Regina and her mother, Rita Daniels came under severe social media bashing and trolling, and there’s virtually no sort of nasty and insulting words that were not used on them. But they were actually not really bothered by all that, because they know what they want and are equally aware when they come across of that they want.
I recall seeing many people, including Regina’s colleagues in the movie industry, making all sorts of nasty remarks about the marriage then. In fact, it was widely speculated that Regina was only going into the marriage because of Ned Nwoko’s large wealth, as the actress doesn’t truly love the man. What’s the situation today? Does the couple in anyway look like they do not actually love each other?
In fact, if there’s another word to depict how much love flows between the couple, then that’s what we should have used to qualify the amount of love shared between them.
There were those then, who claimed that Regina Daniels will not be loyal and faithful to Ned. They were just so desperate to see that the marriage never succeeds, for not justifiable reason, simply out of envy, jealousy, and failure to mind their business.
Some others equally made postulations that once Ned marries Regina, that he will stop her from acting. They were actually saying all these as a way of pushing their desperation in ensuring that the marriage never see the light of the day. But looking at things currently, you would actually shake head and laugh at such comments and remarks. Yes, because we have seen that Ned has banned Regina from ever going close to Nollywood all her life. Lol.
At least, we have seen that Regina actually married her best friend in Ned Nwoko. Yeah, as we have seen how much money the Billionaire has invented in Regina’s career, via all the big budget movies she has sponsored in recent years, including her YouTube channel were she uploads her personal movies regularly.
Aside that, if it was most men they would have even banned Regina from ever going close to her ex boyfriend, Adinma Somadina, who is equally her colleague. But we have seen the duo continue to work on the set of different movies since she got married. This shows how much the couple trust each other, and you can only see such were true love exist.
Of all these negativities they predicted to befall her marriage, we are yet to witness anything close to it. And even, most of these people have turned into praise singers to Regina and her marriage. Her marriage has become a role model that others look up to, and as the type of marriage they wish to have.
But let me shock you, the fact that these people are now celebrating Regina and praising her to the heavens, doesn’t mean in any way that their hearts are actually filled with love for her marriage. At all, it is just a case of “if you can’t beat them, you surrender to them”. And God forbid, should anything bad happen to that marriage today, then you will understand that these people are not truly happy for Regina’s beautiful marriage.
