Many people are seriously angry and heartbroken over the death of Nollywood actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo, late Wednesday, April 10 2024, in Asaba Delta State, while on a movie set.
He was reportedly involved in a boat accident while on his way back from filming. The accident was equally alleged to have claimed the lives of some of actors and crew members onboard the ill-fated boat.
Many people were actually angry that the production failed to provide lifejacket for the actor and some others travelling via the boat. They are of the opinion that if there were lifejackets for these people they wouldn’t have died during the boat accident.
And since news surfaced online, revealing the identity of the Executive Producer of the said film, being actress Adanma Juliet Luke Ozuligbo, angry fans have flooded her Instagram page, attacking her with all sorts of unprintable words, including calling her blood sucker, and equally calling fer her to be banned from the industry, amongst other harsh comments targeted at her.
“You put an actor on water without life jacket? Without life guard? No rescue team? Did you confirm if he could even swim?” @viva_hair_mall queries the producer.
“You are careless and desperate, now you have blood on your hands. Well done. I pray you are never allowed to ever produce any films again,” @diaryofacanadianmum commented angrily as well
“Wetin una dey act…no be this Asaba thing abi e get another one?” @chinonsoajibo queries the movie producer, Adanma Luke Ozuligbo.

Sadly, all the bodies have not been recovered, the rescue team promised to continue tomorrow.
The late actor is survived by his wife and three lovely kids (three boys). And the actor doesn’t joke with those boys for whatever reason. May his soul continue to rest in peace Amen!
