Since yesterday September 24, 2024, there have been series of allegations involving popular and controversial Nigerian Cross Dresser, Bobrisky which alleged that he paid some officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC 15 million Naira to drop the money laundry charges against him during his trial for abuse of the Naira notes.
Then there’s another that Bobrisky’s godfather ensured that he didn’t serve the six months jail term inside the correctional facility, but was put in a rented mansion outside the correctional facility throughout the six months jail term. And some others as raised in the leaked audio taping by Very Dark BlackMan, VDM , yesterday September 24.
Well, the EFCC sent an invitation to both Bobrisky and VDM yesterday to appear in their office for interrogation and more on the matter. While VDM declined the invitation, Barrister Inibehe Effiong has commented on the matter.
According to the Barrister, “there is hardly any correctional center in Nigeria without a Special (VIP) Cell. Is that what VDM is alluding to or is he referring to a private residence outside the four walls of the prison?”
On the other hand, while Femi Falana and his son, Falz, were mentioned in the conversation, well Falz has issued response through his lawyer to VDM, demanding a retraction of the publication and public apology.
