Deceased Nollywood makeup artiste, Abigail Frederick was finally laid to rest in a proper burial ceremony earlier today, Monday April 15, 2024, in Akwa-Ibom State.
Recall she was involved in a boat accident few days ago in Anam, Anambra state, which claimed the lives of five others including movie star, Junior Pope Odonwodo, on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.
Abigail was initially buried by the River side in Anam, Anambra state, following the failure of her people to raise the money needed to perform certain rituals for her body to be taken to her home town in Akwa-Ibom State for proper burial. Following the above, her state government ordered for her corpse to be exhumed and brought home for proper burial.
Then yesterday, Sunday April 12, 2024, the government delegates stormed the burial site by the River side, and successfully exhumed her body, took it to Akwa-Ibom State. And today, she was finally laid to rest in her father’s compound in Akwa-Ibom State.
The Producer of the movie which is titled “The Other Side of Life”, Adanma Luke Ozuligbo has since come under massive backlashing and criticism for failure to ensure the availability of safety gadgets for her artists during the movie shot.
