The Akwa-Ibom State Government is currently in Asaba, Delta State to exhume the corpse of the late Nollywood makeup artist, Abigail Fredrick, who was buried at the bank of the River Niger two days ago.
Recall that Abigail who died along her colleagues, including Junior Pope few days ago, following her involvement in a boat mishap while on a movie set in the state, was buried by the River side. This was as the family couldn’t provide all the money needed for the necessary sacrifices to be performed, to enable them take the corpse to their place for proper burial.
Well the Akwa-Ibom State Government quickly waded into the matter, and demanded for her corpse to be exhumed and brought home to the state for proper burial. The delegates sent for the assignment, including Akwa-Ibom State born movie director and Producer, Moses Eskor, are currently carrying out the assignment.
Stanley Ontop who worked on the movie set as a producer was on ground as the corpse of his colleague is being exhumed, and was on live Instagram video there. In his live video, he wrote, “Akwa-Ibom State Government here to exhume the body of the makeup artist”.

According to reports earlier, it was alleged that the sum of 180,000 was the reason why Abigail was buried at the River side, as the family couldn’t provide it for the sacrifices, after the over 300,000 Naira raised was exhausted on some other expenses.
