The last may not have been heard about Victor Osimhen’s recent transfer saga even after he has finalized a loan deal with Turkish top flight club, Galatasaray.
Following his last minute loan move to Galatasaray, Manchester City and former Barcelona midfielder, Ilkay Gündogan, has reacted to the decision of the player to move to that direction.
Popular football transfer guru Romano Fabrizio had posted on his X account about Osimhen’s move to Turkey, “Osimhen is flying to Istanbul”.
Then Ilkay Gündogan reacted by writing, “wow…crazy” with lots of crazy emojis as well.
Recall that Osimhen has fell out with Napoli and was hoping that he would eventually secure a transfer away from the club during the just concluded transfer market. Unfortunately, both interests from clubs like Chelsea, PSG, Arsenal and Saudi Arabia all failed to materialized.
The current CAF African footballer of the year was seemingly left at the middle of the sea, with no clear direction of where next. On the other hand, he has been axed from Napoli’s squad and made him feeling like the world has come crashing on his head.
