Yul Edochie has indeed shown that he’s not the type of person who can easily be bullied into oblivion or totally into mute mood. The young man has consistently ensured he remains on the lips of most people, most especially social media users. Well, the latest being the launch of his own Church or rather, Ministry, otherwise known as ‘True Salvation Ministry’.
According to the highly controversial and beleaguered actor, he made it clear that it is time for him to answer the call of God, as he is now fully ready and willing to do the work of his creator, as to spread the word of God across the world.
“It’s time to answer the call of God almighty. It’s time to do his work fully. To spread the true message of God. Tune in, a d be transformed,” he wrote via his verified Instagram handle.
Though the ministry will only run on the YouTube video streaming platform for now, with his only program airing on Sundays between 5-6pm.
Expectedly, the post has triggered a barrage of mixed reactions across social media platforms, including from some of his colleagues, both in the entertainment industry and Nollywood.
“If Odumeje can do it, you can do better,” @omalians_crib wrote.
According to popular Nollywood actor, Chigozie Atuanya, “you have started again, let me not say anything for now”.
Another actor, Mike Godson wrote, “senior man,” ending it with laughter emoji.

On the other hand, many others trolled him, on the ground that what he will be teaching people in his new ministry is how to take other people’s wife, run polygamous family, amongst other things. Though some persons were actually against those making mockery of him over his new ministry, citing the fact that nobody “holy pass” the other, as we all have offended both God and our fellow human in one way or the other.
This is coming on the ground that the actor has come under merciless bashing and attacks on social media platforms, since he married his second wife, in the person of actress Judy Austin, without, both the knowledge and consent of his first wife, May Yul Edochie who already has four children for him, including a daughter who is already in the university.
