Popular Nigerian life and relationship coach, Buchi Solomon has left a shocking message for everyone to ponder upon, suggesting his dislike for obtaining the Nigerian passport for his yet to be born children.
According to him, he was blunt about his position, citing that his children will actually be British citizens by birth. He further stated that he won’t dare get the Nigerian passport for them.
Though he didn’t give room for a total shut out, but stated that if they are of age and decides to acquire the Nigerian passport, then it’s solely at their discretion.
“My children will be British citizens by birth, and I’m not getting them a Nigerian passport/citizenship until they turn 18 and can decide if they want to get a Nigerian passport.
If you think I’m not patriotic, use that your patriotism to buy you a bag of rice for 10K,” he tweeted.
This is coming few weeks after the young man took to social media to lament the maltreatment and injustice meted out to his young brother by the Nigerian anti graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
He revealed how the EFCC invaded his brother’s apartment late in the night and manhandled him, on the ground that they are hunting down internet fraudsters.
On the other hand, Buchi who previously based in Nigeria has relocated to the UK after he got married to Arike Adeola in February 2023. His wife is a British citizen by birth, and has lived in the country for years.
