A certain drug dealer who lives in the informally defined sub-region of South East England, precisely in Thames Valley has obviously acted in one of the most insane manner ever known to the world, when he decided to involve the police in a drug related theft which occured in his home.

38 year old James Beaumont of Thames Valley had reportedly been arrested and charged after he alerted the police after an unidentified person broke into his house and stole several varieties of drugs. According to the list of drugs stolen from his home which he handed over to the police include, 87gram of Crystal Meth (Mkpulu Mmiri), MDMA, Cocaine and Ketamine.

Funny enough, when he was arraigned before Judge, Ian Pringle KC at the Oxford Crown court on Monday, September 4, 2023, he pleased guilty to possession of the drugs found in his home and equally with the intent to distribute (supply) them. The drugs found in his home include Class-A drugs including Cocaine, MDMA, Methylamphetamine and LSD. Others include Class-B drugs- cannabis and Ketamine, and Class-C drug- Etizolam.

Meanwhile, the prosecutor in charge of the case, Nigel Ogborne alleged that the defendant runs a drug chain, of which he has others trading for him. Though counsel to the defendant, James Reilly countered the above allegation, and equally making it clear that there was never a time his client consented to running a drug ring, were he had others trading for him. Equally making it clear that his client is suffering with poor mental health at the time.

In the end of the day’s proceedings, the trial judge adjourned the case to enable the prosecutor tender more evidences to proof that the defendant is either involving others who trades for him, basically supplies, or not. The next date for sitting is September 22, 2023, at the St. Aldates Crown Court room.
