Few hours ago, news went viral across the internet and social media platforms that popular Nollywood actor, Junior Pope is dead. According to the news, the actor drowned in River Niger, precisely in Anam, Anambra state while filming in Asaba, Delta State.
Well, we may have a cause to rejoice once again over the sad news as a senior member of Nollywood and a veteran actor, Odira Nwobu, popularly known as “Joseph the Dreamer”, has hinted that the actor is actually alive, against the news flying around that he has died.
“He is alive. Thank God. News coming my way now. I hope it’s true Amen,” he wrote via his verified Instagram handle.
The post has equally triggered mixed reactions in the comment section as seen below…
