With the new season across major European leagues set to begin, various clubs have continued to engage the transfer market to strengthen their squad and otherwise.

Meanwhile, we have got some important transfer news making rounds involving Victor Osimhen, Luka Modric, Lamine Yamal, Greenwood and others.

VICTOR OSIMHEN:

Reports from various sources has revealed that French champions Paris Saint-Germaine, PSG, are seriously pursuing the Nigerian international.

Meanwhile, a deal between Napoli and PSG are not close being done yet, but there’s a strong indications that both club will eventually reach an agreement. Especially as Osimhen is said to be earger to leave Napoli

Lamine Yamal:

The 17 year old Spain and Barcelona forward will now wear jersey number 19 hence. That was the Jersey Number that Barcelona legend Lionel Messi wore first at the club.

When next you see Yamine in Barca jersey, look at the back and see number 19.

Mason Greenwood:

The once troubled and beleaguered England and Manchester United forward is on the verge of joining French top flight Olympic Marseille.

The Old Trafford outfit has given the young star the green light to travel to Marseille as negotiations continue.

According to Fabrizio, he will board a private jet to Marseille for his medicals, afterwards he will pen down a five year contract.

Luka Modric & Lucas Vázquez:

The Croatia play maker has been given a one year contract extension at Real Madrid, keeping him until June 2025.

And following the departure of Nacho, the Croatian has been confirmed as the club’s new captain.

On the other hand, Lucas Vázquez has equally received a one year contract extension at Real Madrid which will see him spend one more season at the club.

Thiago Alcantara:

The former Barcelona and Liverpool midfielder has taken up a new role at Barcelona following his recent retirement.

He will now work with Barcelona new coach, Hansi Flick as a member of his coaching staff.

As such, he’s expected to join the team at their pre season tour in the United States of America.

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang:

The prolific striker has ended his tie with French side Olympic Marseille, OM. The former Dortmund and Arsenal striker is heading to the same destination with Cristiano Ronaldo and others.

Auba is joining Saudi Pro League side Al Qadsiah on a two year contract. Same club with Real Madrid legend, Nacho, and will now play in the same team next season.

Álvaro Morata:

The current Spain captain has left Atletico Madrid and has already completed his medicals at AC Milan.

The Italian side had to trigger his €13m release clause, and subsequently sealing a deal with Morata that runs until June 2028.

Romelu Lukaku.

The Belgian is keen on joining Napoli following the imminent departure of Victor Osimhen who is headed to PSG.

Lukaka is said to be interested in reuniting with his former boss Conte at Napoli.

After his loan spell at Roma, he returned to Chelsea, and it’s clear he won’t be given a priority option at Chelsea, hence he’s determined to join Napoli.

Though many people had thought he would want to join other big boys at the Saudi Pro League, but it’s obvious Lukaku may have a different plan.

Leny Yoro:

Reports reaching our desk this evening indicates that Manchester United has finalized deal to sign Yoro.

Medicals are underway, and with both Manchester United and Lille already agreed on €50m plus €12m add-ons proposal, documents are being sorted out equally.

The contract will run until June 2029 with a clause for an option for further extension. This comes after Real Madrid refused to meet up the price tag on the player.

He will be announced as Manchester United player in the coming days once everything has been finalized.
