And these ugly social menace cuts across people from all walks of life, but just like we all know, because of the social status of celebrities, theirs seems to look like the world has ended or about to do so, but in all, divorce is divorce everywhere.
Well, just as we continue to witness unexpected crash of most celebrity marriages, we have on the other celebrity marriages that has stood the test of time. But this evening, we are looking at some of the most prominent celebrity marriages that crashed in 2023, coming on the heels of the unfortunate crash of the marriage of popular Nollywood actor, Bolanle Ninalowo.
BRed:
The sudden break up of the marriage of Davido’s cousin and colleague in the music industry, BRed whose real names are Adebayo Adeleke and his beautiful wife, Faith Johnson hit people so hard like unexpected stone from a catapult, targeted on the victim’s forehead.
The breakup came at a time their marriage was ridiculed with rumours of infidelity and domestic violence tossing the union as it likes. The fact that the couple had a son together in 2019, whose name is Adetayo Oshioke Adeleke, couldn’t save the marriage.
The couple afterwards unfollowed each other on Instagram, while they continued to attack and insult each other.
Faridah Sobowale:
The crash of her marriage was yet another shocking one, especially regards the circumstances surrounding the breakup. It started when the Lagos State based socialite nearly took her life as a result of the crisis rocking her new marriage of just two months old.
Her two months old marriage to Demola Odulaja crashed when the engine was still steaming to take off proper. The predicament drained her so badly, hence the reason she attempted suicide at that moment.
Meanwhile, in an interview afterwards, her now estranged hubby, Demola Odulaja accused her of being an unrepentant promiscuous wife, which is the reason their marriage crashed almost immediately.
Yomi Gold:
Well, the popular Yoruba movie actor, who is also known as Yomi Alore had married for the second time in his life, yet it still crashed sometime in January of 2023.
Though he was different from the other men in most of the divorce stories, yes, because he publicly admitted that his second wife, Meenah, was a good person and should be exonerated from their crashed marriage, and took responsibility for their failed marriage.
Bolanle Ninalowo and Bunmi:
No doubt, this remains the most shocking and unexpected amongst all these divorce stories. Do not ask me what makes this one special, yes, because everything cannot be rated the same in this life, not even biological twins are rated the same later in life.
Their beautiful and enviable marriage of 17 years old eventually hit the rock today, Friday, September 1, 2023. The actor broke the unfortunate news via his verified Instagram page few hours ago, while equally maintaining that the decision was for the best interest of both parties.
Recall that the couple who had their quiet wedding in the United States of America about seventeen (17) years ago, had first experienced breakup sometime in 2017, and only made up in 2018. Their marriage is blessed with two lovely children, a boy and a girl.
The lovebirds reportedly met in 2004 and eventually got married to each other in 2007.
