Well, a certain pregnant woman identified as Mrs. Ogunbunmi has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen on her way to the hospital for delivery. The ugly incident happened in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
According to Daily Trust, the victim (the Pregnant Woman) who is said to be due for delivery, was on her way to the State General Hospital located in Ijaiye Abeokuta, after she had left her home located at Oke Lantoro. Unfortunately, she never got to the hospital as she was abducted on her way.
Her husband, Mr. Ogunbunmi Lateef who made known this revealed how he got a WhatsApp message informing him that his wife has been abducted while heading to the hospital for delivery.
Meanwhile, the Ogun State Police Spokesman, Mrs. Omolola Odutola has equally confirmed the news, “one Ogunbunmi Lateef of Oke Lantoro reported that his pregnant wife due for delivery left home for State Hospital Ijaiye Abeokuta.
He received a WhatsApp message confirming the abduction of his wife by unknown armed men”.
