The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA in its statement has revealed that the wanted former beauty queen, Ms. Aderinoye Queen Christmas, also known as Ms. Queen Oluwadamilola Aderinoye, has finally been captured.

The statement revealed that she willingly turned herself in at the NDLEA Lagos office about eight months after the agency declared her wanted.

Meanwhile, she was crowned Miss Commonwealth Nigeria Culture in 2015/2016, and in January 2024, she was indicted in drug related offences, hence why she went into hiding after she was declared wanted eight months ago.

NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, in a statement released on Sunday September 1, 2024, revealed that she was declared wanted after her apartment in Lekki was raided by operatives from the agency on January 24, 2024.

He further listed the items recovered from her apartment during the raids, which include 606 grammes of Canadian Loud, a synthetic strain of cannabis, an electronic weighing scale, large quantities of drugs packing plastics, a black RAV 4 SUV marked Lagos KSF 872 GQ, and her picture frame, among others.

The raid on her apartment at the Oral Estate Lekki, on Wednesday January 24 was prompted by a credible intelligence alleging that she deals on illicit substances.
